Pioneer Day Activities at the VC

The Mesa Temple Visitors' Center sponsored an activity to Celebrate Pioneer Day. The missionaries led the group in pioneer songs, activities, and stories. They prepared a craft and showed some inspirational video clips. Many wore pioneer period clothing.

More than 1,000 attended in the three days.

We filled three theaters to capacity the first two days.

Quite the turnout!

This family really showed their pioneer spirit!

Hermanas Duffin, Embley and Elder Andrus posed with this family. The picture taking was unexpected but fun! People love to take pictures with the sister missionaries. We had some hats, bonnets, and bandanas for our activities.

Hermana Orr wanted this serious funny picture! We love her and she says Richard reminds her of her grandfather.
